Narrative reconstruction of poet's Self

Abstract:

Ve své práci jsem se zaměřil na oblast poezie, konkrétně na zkoumání básníkova životního příběhu ve vztahu k předem stanoveným tématům. Protože je psychologie literatury a umění obecně u nás zatím málo popsanou oblastí, obsahuje teoretická část mé práce historický přehled nejdůležitějších bodů obratu, které konstituovaly historii psychologie autora. V této části práce přibližuji výzkumy psychologie autora, které byly vesměs provedeny v západních zemích a v USA ve dvacátém století a prvním desetiletí století jedenadvacátého. Cílem mého výzkumu bylo zjistit, jaký je vztah mezi životem básníka a jeho psaním. Tento hlavní cíl jsem rozdělil do tří oblastí, které se podílejí na formování vztahu mezi životem básníka a jeho psaním. Prvním z dílčích cílů bylo popsat, jaký má básník ke psaní poezie postoj a jakou roli hraje psaní v jeho životě. Druhým z dílčích cílů bylo popsat kreativní proces při tvorbě básní. Třetím z dílčích cílů bylo popsat vývoj básnického stylu, který se během básníkova života určitým způsobem mění. Jako osnovu při kladení otázek jsem použil polostrukturované interview, které jsem rozdělil do tří základních oblastí: životní příběh a dílo, styl a tvůrčí proces. Získané rozhovory jsem analyzoval pomocí narativní analýzy, diskursivní analýzy a také pomocí psychodynamických konceptů. Výsledky analyzovaných rozhovorů prezentuji formou jednotlivých kapitol. Ty se vztahují k dílčím cílům výzkumu a výzkumným otázkám a jsou analyzovány příslušnou metodou. Výsledek výzkumu potvrdil původní cíl zjistit, jaký je vztah mezi životem básníka a jeho psaním. Respondenti výzkumu popsali kreativní proces tvorby, i změny ve vývoji básnického stylu. Rovněž dokázali odpovědět na to, jakou roli hraje psaní v jejich životním příběhu. Některé z odpovědí byli obdobné odpovědím z výzkumů zahraničních autorů. Jiné jsou čistě specifické a kulturně podmíněné historickou zkušeností českého autora.

Abstract:

In my text I have focused on poetry, particularly on searching of the poet’s life story in relation to topics determined in advance. As psychology of literature and art in general are infrequent subjects of inquiry in our country, the theoretical part of my work contains a historical survey of the most important turning points, that constituted the history of psychology of author. In this part of the text I came close to researches of psychology of author, that have been executed altogether in western countries and USA in the 20th century and in the first decade of the 21st century. The aim of my research was to determine the nature of relation between the poet’s life and his writing. This main target has been divided into three areas, that participate in forming of the poet’s life and his writing. First of the partial aims is focused on description of the poet’s attitude to creation of poetry and what role plays the writing in his life. The second partial aim consists in description of the creative process during creation of poems. The third partial aim lies in description of poetical style, that is changing in specific way during the poet’s life. As a plan for putting questions I have used semistructured interview, that I have divided into three basic areas: life story and work, style and creative process. I have analysed the interviews by means of narrative analysis, discursive analysis and also psychodynamic concepts. Outcomes of analysed interviews are submitted by individual chapters. These chapters refer to the partial targets of the research and research questions are analysed by the respective method. The outcome of the research confirmed the original aim to uncover the nature of relation between poet’s life and his writing. Respondents of the research described creative process and changes in development of poetic style. They also proved to give answer to the question, which role plays writing in his life story. Some of these answers were similar to answers from researches of foreign authors. Others are pure specific and cultural conditioned by historical experience of Czech author.
