Urologie je chirurgický obor, který byl dlouhá léta v určitém područí všeobecné chirurgie. K jeho osamostatnění došlo až v 70. letech 20. století založením 1. urologické kliniky v Praze. Cílem bakalářské práce je pokud možno co nejpřehledněji zpracovat historii tohoto oboru v Čechách a na Moravě, a to se zaměřením na období od roku 1848. Urology is a surgical field, which was years in the hands of a general surgery. Its independence was only 70th years of 20th century Urological Clinic in Prague was established.
