Entrepreneurship of the Vietnamese minority in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké jsou motivační faktory pro založení podniků vietnamskými přestěhovalci v České republice s aplikací na teorii ADO od Dabic et al. (2020). Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje historii vietnamských menšin v Česku, vývoji počtu vietnamských podnikatelů na území ČR, odvětví, v nichž podnikají a na základě jakých kroků získávají povolení k podnikání na území Česka. V praktické části byla analýza dat provedena kvalitativním i kvantitativním výzkumem za pomoci rozhovorů a dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky byly vyhodnoceny na základě teorie ADO. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že tyto generace mají k jednotlivým motivačním faktorům rozdílný přístup a jejich významnost se mezi generacemi liší. Tato práce poskytuje praktické informace, neocenitelné případy a skutečné životní zkušenosti. Z tohoto důvodu je tato závěrečná práce užitečným materiálem pro potenciální podnikatele.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out what are the motivating factors for the establishment of companies by Vietnamese immigrants in the Czech Republic with application to the theory of ADO by Dabic et al. (2020). The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the history of Vietnamese minorities in the Czech Republic, the development of the number of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic, the industries in which they do business and the steps taken to obtain a business permit in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the data analysis was performed by qualitative and quantitative research with the help of interviews and questionnaires. The results were evaluated on the basis of ADO theory. The research showed that these generations have different approaches to individual motivational factors and their significance varies between generations. This work provides practical information, invaluable cases and real life experiences. For this reason, this final work is a useful material for potential entrepreneurs.
