Cílem předkládané práce je analyzovat příčiny separatistického konfliktu v angolské provincii Cabinda. Důraz je kladen na zdejší bohatá naleziště ropy a jejich konfliktní potenciál. The aim of this paper is to analyze the causes of the separatist conflict in the Angolan province of Cabinda. Rich sources of oil and their conflict potential are emphasised. Direct causality between the abundance of natural resources in the particular area with local armed conflicts was first introduced in the academic community by Paul Collier.
