Automatic brake test of a railway freight car

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi automatizace zkoušky brzdy nákladních železničních vozů, která by nahradila problematiku časových ztrát a chybového faktoru člověka, které v souvislostmi se zkouškami brzd vznikají. V práci jsou probrány jednotlivé druhy zkoušek brzdy, kde je zhodnoceno, jakou zkoušku brzdy je vhodné automatizovat. Následně jsou probrány jednotlivé úkony úplné zkoušky brzdy. V další části je probráno, které úkony lze automatizovat a které ne. Tato část obsahuje i návrh automatizace úkonů. V hlavní části diplomové práce je probrána problematika komunikace mezi vozy z hlediska identifikace soupravy a jsou zde rozděleny i jednotlivé možnosti řešení.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the possibility of an automatic brake test of railway freight cars, which would replace the time loss and human error factor, which happens while performing brake tests. In this thesis there are analysed the types of brake tests, and which brake test is suitable for automation. In the next part there are specified the actions performed in a full brake test. Then next section evaluates which actions can be automized and which not, this part also includes a proposal how to automate these actions. In the main part of this diploma thesis there is dealt with the communication between the freight cars with the aspect of identification of the train units and are divided into the individual possible solutions.
