Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce zpracovává formou literární rešerše etické a legislativní aspekty asistované reprodukce. Reprodukční a fetální medicína patří v současné době mezi nejprogresivněji se rozvíjející obory. Techniky asistované reprodukce však vyžadují manipulaci s lidskými gametami a embryi, což vyvolává řadu etických a právních dilemat. Párům je v současné době umožněno využít v rámci léčby neplodnosti spermie či vajíčka pocházejících od dárců nebo pomoc náhradních matek. V důsledku zahrnutí třetí strany do procesu reprodukce však může dojít k narušení tradičního chápání struktury rodiny. V rámci metody in vitro fertilizace je s lidskými gametami manipulováno mimo tělo ženy a vzniklá embrya jsou následně přenesena do děložní dutiny. Častou komplikaci tohoto procesu je výskyt vícečetných těhotenství. V České republice je snaha o řešení tohoto problému patrná z novely zákona o veřejném zdravotním pojištění, která se přiklání k přenosu pouze jediného embrya. Na druhou stranu z toho ale vyvstává problematika využití a zpracování nadpočetných embryí. Tato práce se na základě odborných poznatků snaží shrnout jednotlivé metody asistované reprodukce z etického pohledu a zkonfrontovat legislativní opatření této léčby v České republice s jinými zeměmi.

Abstract:

Assisted Reproduction – Ethics and Legislation. This bachelor thesis, based on a literature research, is focused on ethical and legal aspects of the assisted reporduction. Reproduction and fetal medicine currently belong among the most progressively developing fields. The techniques of assisted reproduction require manipulation with human gametes and embryos, which causes many ethical and legal dilemmas. Currently, the couples who are being treated for infertility, are given the possibility to use sperm or ova from donors or the help of a surrogate mother. Due to the involvement of a third party in the reproduction process, the traditional understanding of the family structure could be weakened. In the scope of the in vitro fertilization, the human gametes are being manipulated outside the woman's body and the created embryos are afterwards transferred into the uterine cavity. A common complication of this process is the occurrence of multiple pregnancies. The Czech Republic is trying to solve this problem by the amendment of the Act of the Public Health Insurance that is inclined towards the transfer of a single embryo. On the other hand, the problems with supernumerary embryos arise. This thesis, based on expert opinions, is focused on different methods of assisted reproduction from the ethical point of view and confronts the legislative measures in the Czech Republic and abroad.
