Development of Hotelstars Union Certification

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je „Vývoj certifikace Hotelstars Union“. Teoretická část informuje čtenáře o podmínkách vzniku unie, certifikaci i popisu klasifikace ubytovacích zařízení v ČR i ve světě. Použitá východiska jsou následně uplatněna v analytické části, která popisuje proces získání certifikátu v reálných krocích. Stěžejní je komparace tří časových období, která jsou rozdělena v závislosti na vydání katalogu kritérií. Porovnávána je zde nejen činnost unie, ale i předložená katalogová kritéria. Ze zjištěného vyplývá, že nejlepších výsledků unie dosahovala v prvním období vzniku do roku 2015. V té době byla aktivita unie nejčilejší a rostl i počet přistupujících států. V dalších letech se Hotelstars spíše zaměřuje na propagaci a marketingové aktivity. Katalogová kritéria se v průběhu let změnila jen částečně, a to především v oblasti bezpečnosti, flexibility a transparentnosti. Unie v rámci katalogu kritérií reaguje na všudypřítomný technologický pokrok, který se nese ve znamení zjednodušení procesů přihlášení/odhlášení, vzniku mobilní aplikace do telefonu apod. Změnil se i počet kritérií s bodovým ohodnocením. V posledním období byla navržena nová kritéria související především s dalším technologickým pokrokem jako je zapojení virtuální reality, využití integrovaných inteligentních systémů aj. Zda budou součástí dalších katalogů, je otázkou.

Abstract:

The topic of the Bachelor Thesis is "Development of Hotelstars Union certification". The theoretical part informs readers about the conditions of the establishment of the Union, certification and description of the classification of accommodation facilities in the Czech Republic and in the world. These theoretical bases are applied in the analytical part, which describes the process of obtaining the certificate in real steps. The comparison of three time periods, which are divided according to the publication of the catalogue of criteria, is crucial. Not only the activities of the Union are compared, but also the catalogue criteria presented. It follows that the best results of the Union were achieved in the first period of its establishment until 2015. At that time, the Union's activity was at its most active and the number of acceding states was also growing. In the following years, Hotelstars focused more on promotion and marketing activities. Over the years, the catalogue criteria have changed only partially, especially in the areas of increased security, flexibility and transparency. As part of the catalogue of criteria, the EU responds to the ubiquitous technological progress, which is marked by the simplification of login/logout processes, the creation of a mobile application for the phone, etc. The number of criteria with points has also changed. In the last part, new criteria related to further technological progress were proposed, such as the involvement of virtual reality, the use of integrated intelligent systems, etc. Whether they will be part of other catalogues is a question.
