Issues of the violence prevention at theJ. Zeman Elementary and Nursery School in Náchod

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou prevence násilí na Základní škole a Mateřské škole J. Zemana v Náchodě v souvislosti s Rámcovým vzdělávacím programem pro základní vzdělávání. Teoretické zpracování práce se v první části prolíná s charakteristikou této školy, se strategií současného vzdělávacího systému a vymezením jednotlivých částí kurikulární reformy. Práce obsahuje vymezení pojmů násilí, agrese, agresivita a šikana, včetně poruch chování souvisejících s agresivitou. Empirická část se zabývá šetřením, v jakém rozsahu se patologické jevy na škole vyskytují, jak vnímají žáci školu, jaké vztahy v souvislosti s násilím se objevují ve třídách a co děti považují za šikanu. Z analýzy výsledků průzkumu vyplývají důležité skutečnosti pro postup základní školy při volbě strategie v oblasti prevence. Předmětem poslední části práce jsou metodické listy zaměřené na pojmenování prožívaných pocitů, budování sociálních vztahů a řešení konfliktů samotnými dětmi.

Abstract:

The bachelor degree thesis deals with the issues of the violence prevention at the J. Zeman Elementary and Nursery School in Náchod in relation to the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education. The theory presentation in the first part of the thesis is combined with the school characteristics, the strategy of the current educational system and the description of various elements of the curricula reform. The thesis contains the definitions of such terms as violence, agression, agressiveness and vexation as well as the behaviour disorders linked to agressiveness. The empirical part focuses on the examination of the extent in which such pathologic phenomena occur at this school, how the children feel about the school, what relationships in connection with violence can be observed in classes and what the children consider as vexation. The analysis of the results provides important lessons that can be exploited by the elementary school management when choosing the violence prevention strategy. The final part of the thesis deals with the practical guidelines focused on children describing the feelings experienced, building social relations and mitigating the conflicts on their own.
