Preparation and properties of nitrates and hydroxides of rare earth elements

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou přístupnosti a publikace kvalitních dat, týkajících se vlastností chemických sloučenin. Taková otevřená data daleko lépe slouží jak vědeckým, tak výukovým účelům. V práci je popsána příprava: 1) hydrátů dusičnanu ceritého, erbitého, gadolinitého, lanthanitého, neodymitého a 2) hydroxidů ceritého, erbitého, gadolinitého, lanthanitého a neodymitého. Práce obsahuje infračervená spektra dusičnanů a původních oxidů, ze kterých byly dusičnany připravovány, Ramanova spektra dusičnanů, hydroxidů a oxidů. V práci naleznete i TGA a DSC analýzy zmíněných hydrátů. Všechna spektra byla publikována v databázi Chemspider.com ve formátu JDX. Tím byl zajištěn volný přístup k datům, včetně metadat s možností interaktivní manipulace.

Abstract:

This work deals with accessibility issues and publication of quality data of chemical compound properties. Such open data far better serves both scientific and educational purposes. The thesis describes the preparation of: 1) hydrates of cerium, erbium, gadolinium, lanthanum, and neodymium nitrates; and 2) hydroxides of cerium, erbium, gadolinium, lanthanum and neodymium. The paper contains infrared spectra of nitrates and indigenous oxides from which nitrates were prepared, Raman spectra of nitrates, hydroxides and oxides. You can also find TGA and DSC analyzes of these hydrates. All spectra were published in the Chemspider.com database in JDX format. This has ensured free access to data, including metadata with the possibility of interactive manipulation.
