Application of experiential education elements in lessons of Spanish as a foreign language

Abstract:

The master thesis concerns the application of experiential education elements in regular lessons of Spanish as a foreign language at Czech secondary schools and gymnasiums. The theoretical part deals with the concept of experiential education and its development through time, introduces theoretical educational and psychological basis explaining the process of acquiring knowledge and abilities through experience. It also describes methodological principles and tools for experiential activities and deals with potential problems of these activities that might arise during lessons at school and also offers their solutions. The practical part introduces eleven full experiential education activities.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá aplikací prvků zážitkové pedagogiky do běžných hodin španělštiny realizovaných na českých středních školách a gymnáziích. V teoretické části je představen koncept zážitkové pedagogiky, jeho vývoj v čase, teoretická pedagogicko-psychologická východiska osvětlující proces osvojování si znalostí a dovedností pomocí zkušenosti a prožitku, metodologické principy a prostředky, pomocí kterých je možno zážitkové aktivity uvádět. Je zde nastoleno i téma problémů nebo eventuálních komplikací, které mohou při realizaci aktivit ve školní třídě vyvstat, a jejich řešení. Praktická část nabízí jedenáct kompletních aktivit, v nichž jsou prvky zážitkové pedagogiky zakomponovány.
