Změna fungicidní účinnosti nátěrů používaných pro ochranu dřevěného šindele po vystavení fotodegradaci

Change of fungicidal efficiency of coatings used for protection of wood shingles after exposure to photodegradation

Abstract:

Dřevěný šindel vzhledem k působícím atmosférickým vlivům vždy dříve či později podlehne zkáze. Prodloužení jeho životnosti můžeme docílit souborem opatření, jehož součástí je také ochrana šindele pomocí nátěrů. Na základě ČSN EN 839 byl proveden experiment, jenž zkoumá preventivní účinnost vybraných nátěrů vůči dřevokazným houbám hnědého tlení (Coniophora puteana, Poria placenta) a změnu této účinnosti po působení vody a UV záření. Předmětem experimentu byly čtyři varianty ochranných prostředků: Karbolineum Extra, Carbolineum Powafix, dřevní tér a dřevní tér smíchaný se lněným olejem v poměru 2:1. Nejúčinnější se jevil prostředek Karbolineum Extra, jehož efekt byl statisticky srovnatelný s Carbolineum Powafix. V případě dřevního téru a dřevního téru smíchaného se lněným olejem nebyl pozorován fungicidní účinek. Po působení UV záření a vody bylo zaznamenáno statisticky významné snížení účinnosti u všech prostředků s výjimkou dřevního téru smíchaného se lněným olejem. U Karbolinea Extra dochází ke snížení účinnosti především v důsledku působení UV záření.

Abstract:

Due to atmospheric influences, wooden shingles will sooner or later succumb to destruction. We can prolong their life by a set of measures, which also include the protection of shingles with coatings. According to ČSN EN 839, an experiment was performed, which examined the preventive effectiveness of selected coatings against the wood-destroying brown rot fungi (Coniophora Puteana, Poria Placenta) and the change in this effectiveness due to water and UV radiation exposure. The experiment investigated the effect of four variants of preservatives: Karbolineum Extra, Carbolineum Powafix, wood tar and wood tar mixed with linseed oil in a ratio of 2:1. The most effective product appears to be Karbolineum Extra, whose effectiveness also appears to be statistically comparable to that of Carbolineum Powafix. No fungicidal effect was observed in the case of wood tar and wood tar mixed with linseed oil. Statistically significant decrease in product efficacy after the UV radiation and water exposure, was observed for all products except for wood tar mixed with linseed oil. In case of Karbolinea Extra, the effectiveness was reduced mainly due to UV radiation exposure.
