Abstract:

Globalizace umožnila stále více společnostem zavádět politiky náboru mezinárodních pracovníků, které manažeři směřují k dosažení svých cílů. I když tato politika umožnila diverzifikaci pracovních sil, představuje výzvu i pro manažery, kteří často musí jednat s pracovníky z různých kultur a jazyků. Cílem tohoto šetření bylo proto interpretovat zkušenosti manažerů v nadnárodní společnosti při jednání s jejich mezinárodními pracovníky. Ke studii bylo přistoupeno pomocí kvalitativního přístupu ve fenomenologickém designu, který považoval finanční manažery za jednotku analýzy. Použitou technikou byl polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Pro analýzu projevů dotazovaných byl použit program ATLAS.ti, ve kterém byly generovány analýzy a tematické kategorie. Výsledky přinesly tři hlavní kategorie analýz s příslušnými tematickými celky: strategie (individuální konverzace, rozvoj příležitostí, rozvoj týmové práce), mezikulturní dovednosti a hodnoty (znalosti mezikulturních dovedností, mezikulturní dovednosti a hodnoty vůdce, zkušenosti s vedením, organizační) Životní prostředí) a výzvy (rozhodování, problémy domácí kanceláře, komunikační bariéry).

Abstract:

Globalization has allowed more and more companies to implement policies to recruit International workers, which Managers direct to achieve its goals. While this policy has enabled Workforce diversification, it also poses a challenge to Managers who often have to deal with workers from different cultures and languages. Therefore, the present investigation aimed to interpret the Experiences Managers in a Multinational Company has in dealing with their International Workers. The study was approached using a Qualitative Approach in a Phenomenological Design that considered finance managers the unit of analysis. The technique used was the Semi-Structured interview. For the analysis of the interviewees' speeches, the program ATLAS.ti was used in which the analysis and thematic categories were generated. The results yielded three main categories of analysis with their respective thematic units: Strategies (Individual conversation, Opportunity development, Development of teamwork), Intercultural Skills and Values (knowledge of intercultural skills, Leader's intercultural skills and Values, Leadership Experience, Organizational) Environment) and Challenges (Decision Making, Home Office Problems, Communication Barriers).
