Modernization of PLAN (people liberation army navy) and its influence on security in Taiwan strait
Abstract:
Předkládaná práce se pokouší přiblížit současnou situaci čínského námořnictva a jeho probíhající modernizace. Tento proces vyvolává mnoho otázek, především s ohledem na zachování či změnu poměru sil v oblasti Tchajwanského průlivu, ale také se svým způsobem dotýká samotné podstaty tchajwanské otázky a role USA v regionu severovýchodní Asie.
Abstract:
This work would like to try focus to China´s navy situation and its modernization process nowadays. Not surprisingly this process invokes lots of questions. Most of them are about possible change of power ratio in area of Taiwan Strait. In some level this modernization is also connected with Taiwan question and role of USA in this Northeast Asia.
