THE BEAUTY AROUND AND WITHIN US

Abstract:

Mou práci tvoří soubor pěti nositelných náhrdelníků a tří šperků/objektů na pomezí nositelnosti kde zobrazuji střet fantazie a reálného světa. Jedná se o amorfní tvary různých materiálů a barev propojené s konvenční bižuterií (realita). Téma Krása kolem i v nás tuto práci naprosto vystihuje. Krásu kolem zastupuje příroda, která je pro mne dokonalou krásou a stala se mým nejdůležitějším zdrojem inspirace. A Krásu v nás naše fantazie. Mým cílem je propojit tyto dva světy zhmotněním abstraktní fantazie skrze amorfní tvarosloví, inspirované přírodou (především mořskými korály). Podmořský svět je velice pestrý, ale zároveň skrytý a tajemný, stejně jako naše fantazie. Rozličnost jsem chtěla vyjádřit i různorodými licími materiály, kde jsem kladla důraz hlavně na haptiku. Ve všech špercích/objektech jde o neustálý souboj dvou světů: lidské představivosti a reality, který probíhá více či méně v každém z nás. A je tedy jen na nás, jak k tomuto faktu přistoupíme a zda dovolíme fantazii volně bezbřeze a svobodně prorůstat všední realitu až do ideálního stavu symbiózy.

Abstract:

My thesis contains five wearable necklaces and three jewels with limited wearability, which depict fantasy contradicting with the real world. These are amorphous objects from various materials and in many colours combine with conventional bijouterie (pearls, necklaces, chains). The topic THE BEAUTY AROUND AND WITHIN US is the perfect represents my work/thesis. The beauty around us is represented by the nature, which is for me personally the perfect beauty and became the main source of inspiration. The beauty within us is our fantasy. Main goal of my work is to connect these two worlds by reification of the abstract fantasy through amorphous accidence inspired by nature (primarily deep-sea corals). Undersea world is colourful but also hidden and mysterious, so as our fantasy. Diversity was also portrayed in various materials where I emphasized on Haptic communication All my jewels/objects depict the clash/contradiction between two worlds: the human imagination and the reality, which taking place more or less within all of us. It is only up to us how we face that fact and whether we let our fantasy freely and bottomlessly enter the everyday reality up to the level of ideal symbiosis.
