Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o koncepci sympatie a antipatie v renesanční přírodní magii (magia naturalis). První kapitola stručně charakterizuje pojetí sympatie a antipatie v renesanci, které se od toho dnešního značně liší. Dále už následují vybraní reprezentativní autoři a jejich magická díla. Vybrala jsem Marsilia Ficina, jenž svým dílem De Vita Libri Tres položil základy renesanční magie. Práce pojednává o jeho antických zdrojích i o tom, zda je jeho magie hermetická či spíše novoplatónská. Pico della Mirandola představil svou přírodní magii smíšenou s kabalou ve svých Conclusiones a v Oratio de hominis dignitate. Pikovo dílo je primárně považováno za řeč o svobodě člověka, tato práce tak nastiňuje i fakt, že to není příliš opodstatněné. Posledním renesančním magikem, kterého uvádím je Agrippa z Nettesheimu, který rozvíjel jak Ficinovy, tak Pikovy magické názory. Agrippa byl dlouhou dobu označován za Fausta a pouhého eklektika, proto je předmětem mé práce i poukázat na to, že nová interdisciplinární pojetí jeho díla Okultní filosofie představují jeho magické dílo ve zcela novém světle.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis treats of sympathy and antipathy in Renaissance natural philosophy (magia naturalis). First chapter shortly describes the conception of sympathy and antipathy in Renaissance, which is significantly different from today's conception. The following parts of this diploma thesis treats of selected representative thinkers and of their magican pieces. I chose Marsilo Ficino as first figure of magia naturalis, because he laid the foundations of Renaissance natural magic in his work De Vita Libri Tres. This diploma thesis discuss his ancient sources and the question of whether his magic ie hermetic or rather neoplatonic. Pico della Mirandola introduces his conception of natural magic with Cabbala in his works Conclusiones and Oration on the Dignity of Man. Pico's Oration is primarily considered a speech about dignity and freedom of human. This diploma thesis outlines the fact that this view is not entirely justified. The last chapter deals with Agrippa von Nettesheim, who developed Ficino?s as well as Pico?s magical theory. Agrippa has long been known for Faust and for mere eclectic, therefore the subject of my work is show that new interdisciplinary approaches to his work De Occulta philosophia illustrate it in a new different way.
