U.S. Fiscal Policy Under G.W. Bush Administration

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce ,,Fiskální politika v USA během prezidentství G.W. Bushe“ je popsat fiskální politiku USA během prezidentství G.W. Bushe a zhodnotit její dopad na hospodářský vývoj země. V první části práce budou popsány výchozí ekonomické podmínky v USA před nástupem prezidenta Bushe. V dalších částech bude popsána fiskální politika Bushovy administrativy, pozornost bude zaměřena na daňovou reformu a reformy v oblasti obrany, školství, zdravotnictví a sociálního zabezpečení. Autorka se bude snažit vyhodnotit dopad těchto reforem na americkou ekonomiku.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis „Fiscal policy in the U.S. during the presidency of G.W. Bush“ is to describe U.S. fiscal policy during the presidency of G.W. Bush and assess its impact on economic development of the country. The first part will describe the initial economic conditions in the U.S. before the advent of President Bush. Other parts will be focused on fiscal policy of Bush’s administration, attention will be aimed to tax reform and reforms in defense, education, health and social security. The author will try to evaluate the impact of these reforms on the U.S. economy.
