The aim of this thesis is to provide knowledge and data on the issue of toxic cyanobacteria whose mass proliferations in aquatic environment have become a global problem in recent years. This work is focused on monitoring of the most common cyanobacterial toxin, a cyclic heptapeptide microcystin.
