The research into effects of alcoholism on family

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na alkoholismus v rodinném prostředí. Práce zjišťuje, zda závislost na alkoholu u rodičů zapříčinila vytvoření subjektivně vnímaných dopadů na partnerské vztahy dospělých dětí. Cílem práce je získat konkrétní zkušenosti od dospělých dětí alkoholiků. Práce má charakter teoreticko-empirický. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy jako závislost, alkoholismus, funkce rodiny. Kapitola zaměřená na rodinu popisuje abnormální vztahy, jež vznikají v negativním prostředí ovlivněném závislostí na alkoholu. V teoretické části je dále představována práce sociálního pedagoga. V empirické části bylo cílem hloubkové pochopení situace respondentů a zjištění, zda subjektivní zkušenost se závislostí ovlivňuje partnerské vztahy v jejich dospělém životě. Dále uvádím výsledky z analýzy rozhovorů dospělých dětí alkoholiků.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the subject of alcoholism in family environments, exploring whether alcohol addiction in parents influenced the development of subjectively experienced impacts on the intimate relationships of their children in adulthood. The goal of the thesis is to collect reports about the specific experience of adults whose parents suffered from alcoholism. The thesis is both theoretical and empirical in its nature. The theoretical section defines terms such as addiction, alcoholism, and the function of family. The chapter focused on family describes the abnormal relationships which develop in the negative setting influenced by alcohol addiction. The theoretical section also explores the work of social educators. The empirical section aims at deep understanding of the situations the respondents find themselves in and to establish if their experience with addiction has impacted on their intimate relationships in adulthood. The thesis also analyses the results of the interviews conducted with adult children of alcoholic parents.
