The Fundamental Analysis of the ČEZ Company

Abstract:

Tato práce se obecně zabývá analýzou akcií. Hlavní důraz je věnován fundamentální analýze. Cílem autora je fundamentální analýzu představit jako účinný nástroj rozhodování o nákupu a prodeji akcií. Větší pozornost je věnována především dividendovému diskontním modelu, ocenění podniku a hodnotovému screeningu. Na příkladu společnosti ČEZ, a.s. se autor snaží externím posouzením tohoto podniku určit ?fair? cenu akcie Gordonovým vzorcem, metodou oceněním kapitalizovaných čistých výnosů a DCF a metodou hodnotové screeningu. Na základě provedených analýz společnosti vyslovuje závěr k hodnotám akcie v letech 2007 a 2008.

Abstract:

This thesis is generally dealt with stocks analysis. The main focus is devoted to a fundamental analysis. The aim of an author is to introduce the fundamental analysis as an effective tool for doing decisions about buying and selling stocks. Major attention is paid mainly to the dividend discount model, company valuation and value screening. The author endeavours to explore a fair value of the CEZ, a.s. stock from an external point of view. A Gordon formula, a method based on earnings and a discounted cash flow method and a value screening is utilized to measure the fair value of the stock. Based on the analysis which has been accomplished on the chosen company, the author presents a conclusion of the stock value in 2007 and 2008.
