The French-Czech relations of twin towns: Blansko - Bouloc, Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc and Vacquiers

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis named French-Czech relationship of twined towns: Blansko - Bouloc, Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc and Vacquiers is focused on town-twinning. The aim of the thesis is to highlight the benefits of partnerships between towns, to outline the development of exchange activities within one particular partnership, and introduce the benefits of international cooperation of this kind for both parties involved. The theoretical part is about general principles of the partnership, the purpose of the international cooperation, as well as about the description of historical events in partnership of Blansko and three French villages situated in the area named Frontonnais. It reflects the period from 1997 to the present. Finally, it contains a list of projects that will be implemented in the future. The practical part describes the author's personal experience of working in a program of town-twinning. Apart from the two language stays, the author describes her own project for children aged six to eleven years, integrated into program of the Leisure center of Bouloc. The project involves the integration of Czech culture and the Czech language in the program of the Center.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Francouzsko-české vztahy sdružených měst: Blansko - Bouloc, Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc et Vacquiers se zaobírá tematikou partnerství měst. Cílem práce je poukázat na výhody partnerství měst, nastínit vývoj výměnných aktivit v rámci jednoho konkrétního partnerství a představit přínos mezinárodní spolupráce tohoto druhu pro obě zúčastněné strany. V teoretické části jsou zmíněny všeobecné principy fungování partnerství, účel této mezinárodní spolupráce, dále popis historických událostí v rámci partnerství města Blanska s třemi francouzskými městy z oblasti Frontonnais od roku 1997 do současnosti, a nakonec seznam projektů, které budou realizovány v budoucnu. Další, praktická část práce popisuje osobní zkušenost autorky práce s partnerstvím měst. Je v ní kromě dvou jazykových pobytů autorky popsán její vlastní projekt pro děti od šesti do jedenácti let realizovaný v Centru volného času města Bouloc. Projekt se týká začleňování české kultury a českého jazyka do programu Centra.
