The presented thesis focuses on the use of electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy in the study of modern low-dimensional materials. In the theoretical part, this thesis aims to introduce the reader to the history and design of the different parts of the spectrometer. Předkládaná práce se zaměřuje na využití elektronové paramagnetické rezonanční spektroskopie při studiu moderních nízko-dimenzionálních materiálů. V teoretické části si tato práce klade za cíl seznámit čtenáře s historií a konstrukcí jednotlivých částí spektrometru.
