Business process improvement in transition from micro to small IT company

Abstract:

In this thesis I deal with multidisciplinary overview of IT companies development in stage of startup, micro and small business. In the introduction I analyze business operations in each development stage. I verify gained knowledge in practice on real company, which operates on Czech market. I identify its biggest problems and try to eliminate them by application of systematic changes. At the end I evaluate contribution of individual steps and I design another ones, which should be, based on my findings, the most important for future company development.

Abstract:

V tejto práci sa zaoberám multidisciplinárnym pohľadom na rozvoj IT firiem v štádiách startupu, drobného a malého podniku. V úvodnej časti analyzujem fungovanie podnikov v jednotlivých štádiách rozvoja. Následne získané teoretické poznatky prakticky overujem na reálnej spoločnosti pôsobiacej na českom trhu. Identifikujem jej najväčšie problémy a snažím sa ich eliminovať aplikáciou systematických zmien. Na záver vyhodnocujem prínos jednotlivých opatrení a navrhujem ďalšie, ktoré by podľa mojich zistení mali byť pre ďalší rozvoj firmy prioritou.
