Situation analysis of the tourism destination

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnocení primární a sekundární nabídky destinace Posázaví využitím situační analýzy a SWOT analýzy. V práci jsou definované tři výzkumné otázky. Z výzkumných metod byla využita především analýza, deskripce, studie dokumentů a vyvození závěrů na základě získaných poznatků. Práce je členěna na tři části. První, teoreticko-metodologická část se zaměřuje na popis informací využitých v analytické časti, jako definice cestovního ruchu, destinace cestovního ruchu, organizace destinačního managementu, turistických regionů a oblastí, situační analýzu a SWOT analýzu. V analytické části jsem se zaměřil na analyzování přírodních, kulturně-historických, organizovaných a sociálních atraktivit a na vybavenost destinace, konkrétně na dopravní, stravovací a ubytovací služby. Na základě dostupných analyzovaných údajů bylo zjištěno, že ubytovací zařízení se nacházejí převážně v obcích Benešov, Čechtice, Vlašim a Český Šternberk. Destinace navštěvují převážně rezidenti, kteří tvoří přibližně 70% všech hostů ubytovaných v hromadných ubytovacích zařízeních.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor work is to evaluate primary and secundary offers of destination Posázaví, using situational analysis and the SWOT analysis. In this work I defined three research question. From available research methods I mainly used analysis, description, study of documents and eduction from the gained information. The work is separated into three parts. First is the theoretical and methodical part, focusing on description of information used in the analysis part, such as definition of tourist trade, destination of tourist trade, organization of destination management, turistic regions and area, situational analysis and the SWOT analysis. In the analytical part I focused on analysing of natural, cultural and historical activities both socially and professionally organized and facilities of the destination, specifically the transportation convenience, feeding and housing services. On the basis of analized information I found out that the housing services are mostly located in municipality of Benešov, Čechtice, Vlašim and Český Šternberk. The destination is most often visited by residents who create approximately 70% of all the guests housed in mass accommodation facilities.
