Identification of Value Generators in Transport

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem každého podnikání je vytváření hodnoty. Složitost dnešních podniků a rostoucí požadavky zákazníků jsou příčinou závislosti hodnoty podniku na celé řadě aspektů. Hodnota musí být účinně řízena ve všech úrovních organizace. Prostředkem k řízení hodnoty je identifikace generátorů hodnoty. Tato diplomová práce stanovuje generátory hodnoty pro podniky v silniční dopravě, která je v dnešní době nejrozšířenějším druhem dopravy. Výhodu těchto podniků lze spatřovat ve výborné dostupnosti a rychlosti přepravy, negativní vliv naopak mají zejména na životní prostředí. Úvodní část diplomové práce se zabývá rozborem relevantní odborné literatury v oblasti generátorů hodnoty a zejména pak dopravních podniků. Druhá část využívá k identifikaci generátorů hodnoty podniku v oboru silniční nákladní dopravy metodu umělých neuronových sítí. Určeny jsou konkrétní položky účetních výkazů, které mají na hodnotu podniku největší vliv. Výsledky jsou detailně popsány, stanoveny jsou též návrhy opatření.

Abstract:

The main goal of every business is to create value. The complexity of today´s businesses and the growing demands of customers are the cause of business value dependence on a number of aspects. Value must be effectively managed at all levels of the organization. The means to control the value is to identify the value generators. This diploma thesis defines value generators for road transport companies, which is the most widespread mode of transport today. The advantage of these companies can be seen in excellent availability and speed of transport, on the contrary, they have a negative impact on the environment. The introductory part of the diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the relevant literature in the area of value generators and, in particular, of transport companies. The second part uses the method of artificial neural networks to identify the value generators of the road freight transport company. Specific items of accounting statements are identified which have the greatest impact on the value of the company. The results are described in detail, and the draft measures are also set out.
