Nursing Process in a Patient with Cancer of the Oral Cavity

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce je ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s nádorovým onemocněním ústní dutiny. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části práce v je uveden klinický charakter nádorů, příčinyvýskytu a způsob tvorby v různých částech úst. Dále je zmíněno, jak dalece se tento druh rakoviny ve světě a v České republice rozšířil, také se zabýváme metodami diagnostiky a léčby tohoto onemocnění. Hlavní část bakalářské práce je praktická a je zpracována metodou ošetřovatelského procesu pomocí koncepčního modelu Majory Gordon a podle NANDA international. Na konci práce jsou uvedena shrnutí a zhodnocení ošetřovatelské péče; závěry práci ukazují, že informovanost o této chorobě mezi veřejností není dostatečná a že je třeba více se zaměřit na prevenci a včasné odhalení této nemoci. Práce také ukazuje důležitost spolupráce mezi lékaři a pacienty v prevenci a léčbě rakoviny ústní dutiny.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis topic is the nursing process for a patient with oral cavity cancer. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part of the work, first of all, we will discuss the clinical character, the cause, its occurrence and the way of formation in different parts of the mouth. In the following you will learn how far this type of cancer has spread in the world and in the Czech Republic and we are still dealing with the methods of diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The main part of this work is practical, in which I will focus on a patient with this disease. The practical part is processed by the method of the nursing process using the conceptual model of Majora Gordon and according to NANDA international. At the end of the article, the conclusion and purpose are summary and evaluation; the conclusions of the work show that awareness of this disease among the public is not sufficient and that there is no need to focus more on prevention and early detection of this disease. The work also shows the importance of cooperation between doctors and patients in the prevention and treatment of oral cancer.
