Abstract:

Práce se zabývá proměnou jihlavského náměstí od 60. do 80. let 20. století a využitím tohoto tématu ve výuce. Na základě dostupných pramenů a literatury se snaží postihnout okolnosti demolice historických budov nazývaných „Krecl“, ke které došlo po vleklých jednáních mezi pracovníky památkové péče a městským národním výborem. Práce se také věnuje následné výstavbě obchodního domu Prior, který měl vyřešit nedostatek obchodních ploch v Jihlavě. Součástí práce je i didaktický projekt zaměřený na tuto problematiku určený studentům střední školy.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the transformation of Jihlava´s Square since the 60s to the 80s of the 20th century and the application of this subject in teaching. Based on available sources and literature it tries to cover the demolition circumstances of the historic buildings called „Krecl“. The demolition was realized after prolonged negotiations between conservationists and the city council. The thesis also researches a subsequent construction of Prior's department store as a solution to the lack of commercial space in Jihlava. Integral part of the thesis is a didactic project focused on this issue and intended for secondary school students.
