The main goal of this diploma thesis was to clear currency risk which is defined as effective demand loss of one country currency against other countries currencies. The currency risk is influenced by danger and bigness of each country and acceptance of currencies in the world. Cieľom našej práce bolo priblížiť problematiku menového rizika, ktoré môžeme definovať ako stratu kúpyschopnosti jednej meny krajiny, voči menám iných krajín a jeho eliminácie. Rizikovosť jednotlivých mien vyplýva z rizikovosti a veľkosti jednotlivých krajín a akceptovanosti ich mien vo svete.
