The Trutnov region - economic history

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Trutnovsko ? ekonomická historie regionu v několika kapitolách shromažďuje informace, které popisují ekonomickou historii regionu od počátků osídlení oblasti do současnosti. Ekonomická historie regionu je, pokud to bylo možné a účelné, popsána ve 3 časových obdobích. Zachyceno je období od počátků osídlení do skončení 1. světové války, období od vzniku Československa do skončení 2. světové války a období po 2. světové válce do nedávné minulosti. V těchto částech je kladen důraz na zachycení hlavních ekonomických aktivit. A to od počátků cechovního uspořádání přes velkovýrobní zpracování lnu a dalších významných výrobních činností, a také změn, které nastaly ve struktuře výroby díky ekonomickým tlakům po listopadu 1989. Výše uvedené informace slouží jako základ pro tvorbu obsahu 5 vyučovacích hodin Ekonomické historie regionu v rámci předmětu Ekonomika, který je vyučován ve 4. ročníku maturitního oboru Logistické a finanční služby na SOŠ a SOU Trutnov. Množství získaných informací bylo po skončení výuky otestováno a porovnáno se vstupním testem. Hypotézou očekávaný nárůst znalostí byl ověřen a doložen statistickým srovnáním dat získaných z testů pomocí U-testu Mann Whitney.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis The Trutnov Region ? Economic History of the Region compiles information that refers to economic history of the region since the area has been populated. Economic history of the region is described in 3 time periods, as far as the research was possible and purposeful. The first part includes period from the beginnings of settlement until the end of World War I, the second part monitors the time from the formation of Czechoslovakia to the end of World War II, and finally the time period from the end of World War II until yesteryear is charted. In these parts the accent is put on monitoring main economic activities from the beginnings of traditional craft industry arrangement to large-scale linen-processing and other important production activities, as well as changes that occurred in structure of production thanks to economic crisis after the November 1989. Above mentioned information serve as essentials for creation of curriculum for 5 lessons of economic history of the region within the subject Economics, which is taught in the 4th year of study with specialization Logistical and Financial Services at SOŠ and SOU Trutnov. Information content acquired during the lessons was examined and compared with preliminary entrance test at the end of the course. Growth in knowledge expected by hypothesis was proved and supported with evidence of statistical comparison of data acquired with the aid of U-test Mann Whitney.
