Training activities of daily living for clients with Pelizaerus - Merzbacher Disease

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářská práce s názvem Nácvik všedních denních činností u klientů s morbus Pelizaeus Merzbacher je přispět k řešení problematiky PMD v rámci ergoterapeutické intervence. Teoretická část práce popisuje obecné informace o centrální nervové soustavě, typech nervových vláken a jejich myelinizaci. Speciální část se věnuje rozdělení leukodystrofií a celkovému jejich přehledu. Blíže popisuje etiologii, klinický obraz, formy, diagnostiku a léčbu Pelizeaus Merzbacherovi choroby. V závěru teoretické části práce je popsána ergoterapie věnující se nácviku ADL, hodnocení ADL a jednotlivým využívaným testům ADL. Hlavní část je věnována kazuistice dítěte s PMD a ergoterapeutickému nácviku ADL. Zahrnuje cíle a úkoly práce, vstupní a výstupní vyšetření, krátkodobý a dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán a prognózu klienta. Na závěr práce se věnuji vyhodnocení uskutečněné terapie.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis Training activities of daily living for clients with Pelizaerus - Merzbacher Disease is to contribute to solving problematics PMD in occupational therapy. The theoretical part describes general information about the central nervous system, types of the nerve fibers and their myelination. The special part describes the descributions of leukodystrophies and general information of theirs. It focused on etiology, clinical presentation, forms, diagnosis and treatment of Pelizeaus Merzbacher disease. At the end of the theoretical part is described occupational therapy dedicated to training ADL, ADL assessment and individual tests used by ADL. The main part is devoted to the case report of a child with PMD and occupaional therapy 's ADL training. It includes goals and tasks, input and output tests, short and long - term plan for occupational therapy and client prognosis . The conclusion of the work evaluates the completed therapy.
