Self-defense of the deaf

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na sebeobranu osob se sluchovým postižením. V první části se práce zaměřuje na definici sluchu, sluchových postižení a sluchových vad včetně klasifikaci těchto vad a postižení. Dále jsou zde uváděna doporučení pro komunikaci s osobami sluchově postiženými. Druhá část je zaměřena na sebeobranu, její definici, rozdělení, zákony související s ní. V této části jsou rovněž popisovány nejčastější formy násilí u neslyšících – šikana, domácí násilí. Výstupem bakalářské práce je navržená metodika kurzu sebeobrany pro neslyšící včetně doporučení, jak postupovat v rámci její výuky pro instruktory. Toto bylo zpracováno na základě dotazníkové akce provedené mezi neslyšícími v kraji Jihomoravském a Olomouckém. Z dotazníkové akce rovněž vyplynulo, že osoby se sluchovým postižením jsou častěji ohroženi šikanou a krizovými situacemi než osoby slyšící. Praktické zkušenosti oslovovaných osob s šikanou či krizovými situacemi jsou zpracovány i graficky.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on the self-defense of people with hearing impairment. In the first part the thesis focuses on definition of hearing, hearing impairment and auditory defects including the classification of these defects and disabilities. They are also here recommendations for communication with people with hearing impairment. Second part is focused on self-defense, its definition, division, laws associated with it. In this section are described the most common forms violence in the deafare - bullying, domestic violence. The output of the bachelor thesis is proposed methodology of the self - defense course for the deaf, including recommendations as to undertake training for instructors. This was processed on the basis of a questionnaire carried out among deaf people in south moravia and Olomouc.The questionnaire also showed that people with auditory defects are more likely to be at risk of bullying and crisis situations than people normal hearing. Practical experience of addresing people with bullying or crisis situations are also processed graphically.
