Abstract:
Autorka se v bakalářské práci zaměřila na důležité okamžiky života skotské královny Marie Stuartovny, vedoucí k jejímu pádu. Práce pojednává o ranném dětství ve Francii, návratu do Skotska v roce 1561, šestiletém období vlády a nucené abdikaci v roce 1567. Dále řeší komplikované vztahy Marie nejen se skotskou šlechtou, ale zejména Alžbětou I., která nebyla Marií uznána za právoplatnou anglickou královnu …more
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is about the life of Mary, Queen of Scots. The thesis will examine her early years, her life as a young girl in France, her return to Scotland in 1561, her forced abdication in 1567 and her final years as a 'house guest' of her cousin Queen Elizabeth ending with her execution at Fotheringay Castle in 1587.
