Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou treasury managementu, který je pro mnohé nadnárodní podniky jednou z důležitých oblastí podnikového řízení. V předložené práci jsou rozebrány především následující oblasti: cash management a řízení kurzového rizika. V části zabývající se cash managementem je popsáno teoretické pojetí držení hotovosti a vymezeny modely cash poolingu. V kapitole řízení kurzového rizika jsou vysvětlen základní pojmy devizového kurzu, devizové pozice a expozice, a také možnosti měření a řízení kurzového rizika. V praktické části diplomové práce je analyzována plzeňská entita nadnárodní společnosti Panasonic, a to Panasonic AVC Networks Czech s. r. o. Dále jsou analyzovány jednotlivé části cash managementu, a také PATRES - podnikový systém treasury. Dále jsou analyzovány možnosti řízení kurzového rizika ve společnosti. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty poznatky z teoretické části práce a navrženy návrhy na možná zlepšení vedoucí k zefektivnění v dané oblasti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with issue of treasury management, which is for many multinational companies one of the important part of enterprise management. In the presented thesis are discussed mainly the following areas: cash management and foreign exchange risk management. In the part cash management is explained theoretical concept of holding cash and defined cash pooling models. In chapter foreign exchange risk management are explained basic terms of the exchange rate, foreign exchange position and exposure, and the possibility of measuring and managing foreign exchange risk. In the practical part of the thesis is analyzed the Pilsen multinational entity of Panasonic, Panasonic AVC Networks Czech s. r. o. Following are analyzed the parts of cash management and so PATRES - corporate treasury system. Further are analyzed exchange rate risk management opportunities in the company. The final section summarizes the findings of the theoretical part and proposes suggestions for possible improvements leading to more efficiency in this field.
