Air dielectric strength at impulse voltage stress

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá elektrickou pevností vzduchového dielektrika při působení impulzního napěťového namáhání. Úvodní část práce popisuje dielektrické vlastnosti plynných dielektrických materiálů, včetně vysvětlení průběhu výboje na jejich voltampérové charakteristice. Další část práce definuje normalizovaný napěťový pulz, jeho tvorbu v laboratorních podmínkách pomocí rázového generátoru a popisuje postup jednotlivých zkoušek pro testování tímto napětím. V praktické části práce je provedeno měření elektrické pevnosti vzduchu pomocí metody více hladinami. Výsledkem měření je statistické porovnání elektrické pevnosti vzduchu při různých parametrech testu, jako je tlak vzduchu, tvar elektrod a jejich vzájemná vzdálenost.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the dielectric strength of the air dielectrics at impulse voltage stress. The introductory part are described the dielectric properties of gaseous dielectric materials, including an explanation of the course of discharge on their current-voltage characteristics. The next part defines a standardized voltage pulse, his generation in the laboratory using high voltage impulse generator and describes proceeding of the tests for testing this voltage. In the practical part of the work is performed measuring the electrical strength of the air using the multiple-level method. The result of measurement is a statistical comparison of the electric strength of air at different test parameters like air pressure, the shape of the electrodes and their mutual distance.
