Diplomová práce se zabývá edukací žáků s chronickým onemocněním, vytvořením a ověřením manuálu pro tohoto žáka. Je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První tři kapitoly představují teoretickou část práce a vymezují teoretická východiska, diabetes mellitus a podpůrná opatření.
