Ethics in operating rooms from the point of view of the perioperative nurse

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vnímání etiky na operačních sálech z pohledu perioperační sestry pomocí modelu čtyř rovin dle autorů A. R. Jonsena, M. Sieglera a W. J. Winsladea. Teoretická část čerpá z rešerše odborné literatury a přináší vhled od vývoje etiky po současné chápání etických principů a přináší seznam etických dilemat vztahující se k terapii onkologického pacienta. V průzkumné části jsou analyzovány polostrukturované rozhovory, které reflektují povědomí o etice vztahující se k péči o pacienta a k vnímání použitelnosti etických principů v praxi. V následné diskuzi je na podkladě výsledků průzkumu sestavené doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the perception of ethics in operating theaters from the point of view of the perioperative nurse using the four-level model according to the authors A.R. Jonsen, M. Siegler and W.J. Winslade. The theoretical part draws on the research of professional literature and provides insight from the development of ethics to the current understanding of ethical principles and provides a list of ethical dilemmas related to the therapy of an oncology patient. In the exploratory part, semi-structured interviews are analyzed, which reflect the awareness of ethics related to patient care and the perception of the applicability of ethical principles in practice. In the subsequent discussion, a recommendation for practice is drawn up based on the survey results.
