Bakalářská práce se zabývá čarodějnickými procesy, které se konaly v Severní Americe na počátku novověku. Práce nejprve popisuje terminologii spojenou s pronásledováním čarodějnic a pozadí vzniku procesů samotných, jež započaly v Evropě již ve středověku a byly tedy ovlivněny smýšlením středověké společnosti a postavením církve.
