The Analysis of Communication Skills of Children with Learning Disabilities from the Perspective of Teachers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou komunikace u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. Cílem práce je analyzovat komunikační projevy u těchto žáků z pohledu jejich učitelů. Práce je členěna na 3 kapitoly, z nichž jsou 2 teoretické, a 1 je věnována výzkumnému šetření. První kapitola pojednává o teoretických východiskách z oblasti specifických poruch učení. Je zde vymezena základní terminologie, klasifikace specifických poruch učení a také principy vzdělávání žáků s těmito poruchami. Druhá kapitola definuje důležité pojmy z oblasti komunikace, narušenou komunikační schopnost a také popisuje problémy v komunikaci u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu rozhovorů, jejichž účelem bylo zjistit, s jakým druhem narušené komunikační schopnosti a komunikačních obtíží se oslovení učitelé u svých žáků setkávají a jaké jsou přidružené potíže ovlivňující komunikační projevy žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. Dále také praktická část zkoumá, jaké metody učitelé při výuce žáků užívají a jak hodnotí četnost specifických poruch učení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with communication of pupils with specific learning disabilities. The goal of the thesis is to analyse the communication acts of these pupils from the perspective of their teachers. The thesis is divided into 3 chapters 2 of which are theoretical and 1 is dedicated to the research. The first chapter is about theoretical basis concerning the field of specific learning disabilities. The basic terminology, classification of specific learning disabilities and principles of education of pupils with these disabilities are listed there. The second chapter defines important phrases of the field of communication, communicative disability and it also describes communication problems of pupils with specific learning disabilities. The practical part contains the analysis of the interviews, which purpose was to find out which type of communicative disability and communications problems teachers see with their pupils and also which are the associated problems which effect communication acts of children with learning disabilities. Moreover, the practical part investigates which techniques interviewed teachers use and how they judge the frequency of specific learning disabilities.
