Neurodegenerative Disorder: Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o neurodegenerativním onemocnění, zejména se zaměřuje na problematiku Alzheimerovy choroby. Na začátku je vypracován stručný popis neurodegenerativního onemocnění, jež zahrnuje Alzheimerovu chorobu. Následně je popsána historie Alzheimerovy choroby a detailní popis nemoci, především patogeneze, která zahrnuje změny probíhající v mozku. Na to navazuje popis histologické stránky a jednotlivých stádií nemoci. Následně jsou popsány rizikové faktory a diagnostika zahrnující popis jednotlivých vyšetření. V závěru jsou uvedeny možnosti léčby Alzheimerovy choroby.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with neurodegenerative diseases, especially is focused on the issue of Alzheimer's disease. At the beginning, a brief description of a neurodegenerative disease, which includes Alzheimer's disease, is made. Subsequently, the history of Alzheimer's disease and a detailed description of the disease, especially the pathogenesis, which involves changes in the brain, are described. This is followed by a description of the histological side and individual stages of the disease. Subsequently, risk factors and diagnostics are described, including a description of individual examinations. Finally, the treatment options for Alzheimer's disease is presented.
