Pay-per-bid Auctions
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá aukcemi s placeným příhozem, které jsou novinkou na českém internetu. Ve své práci testuji vhodnost modelu, který navrhli Platt, Price a Tappen, na datech o ukončených aukcích na českém aukčním portálu Bonus.cz. Model těchto autorů předpovídá rozložení konečných cen v závislosti na ceně předmětu, ceně příhozu a částky, o kterou se aukce navyšuje. Tomuto modelu odpovídalo rozložení …more
Abstract:
This paper analyzes pay-per-bid auctions which have appeared recently on the Internet. In this paper I test the suitability of Platt, Price and Tappen's model using data about ended auctions on the website Bonus.cz.
