The thesis is dealing with performance tuning in relational databases. It contains insights into relational database conception. Further it discusses tuning methods of relational databases, part of which is SQL statement optimalization described in detail. Abstract:
Práca sa zaoberá ladením výkonu v relačných databázach. Obsahuje náhľad do koncepcie relačných databáz. Ďalej rozoberá metódy ladenia relačných databáz, čoho súčasťou je podrobná časť venujúca sa optimalizácií SQL dotazov. Ďalšia časť sa venuje zhodnoteniu dostupných nástrojov v databázových systémoch Oracle, MySQL a PostgreSQL a ich porovnaniu. V závere je uvedená sumarizácia výsledkov.
