The theoretical part of this thesis deals with an introduction into the topic of unsatisfactorily studied xenobiotics in the aquatic environment – personal care products (PCP´s). Témou tejto bakalárskej práce v jej teoretickej časti je úvod do problematiky málo preskúmaných cudzorodých látok vo vodnom prostredí – produktov osobnej hygieny (anglicky personal care products; PCP´s). Medzi produkty osobnej hygieny patria pleťové krémy, šampóny, kondicionéry, deodoranty, antiperspiranty, parfumy, zubné pasty alebo opaľovacie krémy.
