Interaction between host and pathogen is extremely important for successful pathogenesis and disease induction. These interactions are mediated by various molecular or cellular mechanisms that pathogens use to induce infection. Interakcia hostiteľa a patogénu je nesmierne dôležitá z hľadiska úspešnej patogenézy a vyvolania ochorenia. Tieto interakcie sú sprevádzané rozličnými molekulárnymi, či bunkovými mechanizmami, ktoré patogén využíva pri vyvolaní infekcie.
