Creation of multimedia interactive teaching tool with utilisation of remote experiments

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo, na základě prostudování obsahu učiva základní a střední školy, navrhnout a vytvořit multimediální interaktivní učební pomůcku s použitím vzdálených experimentů. První kapitola teoretické části práce zachycuje obsah učiva fyziky a IKT na základní a střední škole dle RVP. V kapitole druhé je vysvětlen pojem vzdálený experiment, popsán jeho princip, funkce a technická realizace. Kapitola také obsahuje rešerši několika webových stránek se vzdálenými experimenty. V následující třetí kapitole, která již spadá do praktické části práce, je vytvářená pomůcka navržena a na základě analýzy zvoleno vhodné prostředí pro její tvorbu (Java). Navrženy jsou zde i kurzy určené pro výuku s použitím vzdálených experimentů. Poslední části této kapitoly popisují již vytvořenou pomůcku a to jak její ovládání, tak zdrojové kódy. Čtvrtá kapitola prezentuje výsledky získané při použití navrhnuté pomůcky přímo v učebním procesu a zhodnocení její účinnosti na zlepšení výsledků studentů.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis was to design and create a multimedia interactive teaching tool with utilisation remote experiments as a result of analyzing the curriculum content of elementary and secondary schools. The first theoretical chapter covers the content of the curriculum of physics and ICT at elementary and secondary schools according to RVP. The second chapter explains the concept of the remote experiment. This chapter describes its principles, functions and technical implementation and it includes a description of several Web sites with remote experiments as well. In the next chapter, which already belongs to the practical part of the thesis, the tool is designed. The environment, which is based on the analysis suitable for the tool?s creation, is also selected (Java). Courses for teaching with utilisation of remote experiments are proposed in this chapter too. The last parts of this chapter describe the created tool; its control and the source codes. The fourth chapter presents the results obtained by the implementation of the tool directly to the learning process and the evaluation of its effectiveness according to improvement of the students' results.
