Tato diplomová práce se věnuje otázce peněžitého trestu, který je v dnešní době považován za významnou alternativu ke krátkodobému trestu odnětí svobody. This diploma thesis deals about the question of a financial penalty, which is actually considered as an effective alternative in comparison with a short imprisonment. The main target of the thesis is to complexly describe the substantive and procedural aspects of the punishment in Czech Republic related to individual subjects of the offense.
