Emergency medical service from the public view

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zjištění povědomí obyvatel Moravskoslezského kraje o činnosti zdravotnické záchranné služby. Teoretická část popisuje historický vývoj zdravotnické záchranné služby v České republice od počátku až do současnosti. Práce se dále zabývá činností zdravotnického operačního střediska a zabývá se typy a činnostmi výjezdových posádek zdravotnické záchranné služby. V neposlední řadě představuje také Zdravotnickou záchrannou službu Moravskoslezského kraje i ze statistického pohledu. Praktická část bakalářské práce se věnuje průzkumu zaměřenému na zjištění informovanosti obyvatel Moravskoslezského kraje o činnosti zdravotnické záchranné služby. Data z terénu byla získána metodou dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the findings of how much the inhabitants of the Moravian-Silesian region are aware of the activities of the Emergency Medical Service. The theoretical part describes the historical background and development of the Emergency Medical Service in the Czech Republic from the beginnings up to the present days. In addition the work discusses the activities of the medical operations centre and specifies the types and functions of the emergency service medical vehicles. Last but not least the thesis presents the Emergency Medical Service of the Moravian-Silesian region from the statistics point of view. The practical part of the thesis is based on the research proving the awareness of the inhabitants of the Moravian-Silesian region of the Emergency Medical Service work. The results from the field were obtained by means of the questionnaire method.
