Anotácia:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem hudby na výslovnost studentů. Účelem této práce je zjistit, zda bude mít poslouchání hudby v hodinách Anglického jazyka nějaký dopad na výslovnost studentů a jaké další vlivy ovlivňují jejich výslovnost. Teoretická část práce popisuje souvislost mezi hudbou a jazykem, představuje základy Anglické fonetiky a fonologie a popisuje časté chyby českých studentů v Anglické výslovnosti. Záměrem praktické části práce je zjistit do jaké míry může být výslovnost studentů ovlivněna hudbou a jaké další jevy ovlivňují proces učení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the influence of music on students´ pronunciation. The purpose of the case study is to find out whether listening to music in English lesson will have any influence on students´ pronunciation and what are other factors influencing their pronunciation. The theoretical part explores the connection between language and music, introduces the English phonetic and phonology system and describes the common mistakes Czech students make in English pronunciation. The aim of the practical part is to find out to what degree can be students´ pronunciation improved with the help of music and what are other factors influencing the learning process.
