Train Resistance of Current Rolling Stock

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je rozbor jednotlivých složek vozidlového odporu železničních kolejových vozidel, jejich fyzikální podstaty i vzniku. Klíčovým obsahem je metodika, s jejíž pomocí je z dat získaných výběhovou zkouškou sestavena závislost vlastního odporu vozidla na rychlosti jízdy. Aplikace je demonstrována na moderní elektrické jednotce i kontejnerových vlacích. Důraz je kladen na vlaky provozované společností METRANS Rail s.r.o. Je uveden postup výpočtu technického normativu hmotnosti, jež s vozidlovým odporem souvisí. Práce obsahuje také zamyšlení nad změnou výše uvedené metodiky výpočtu především pro kontejnerové vlaky z hlediska fyzikální interpretace a možného přínosu pro rychlou nákladní železniční dopravu.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's work put target to analyze the individual components of the train resistance, their physical principle and formation. The key content is the methodology by which the data obtained from the untraction examination assembly dependency of own train resistance to speed. The application is demonstrated on a modern electric unit and container trains. Emphasis is placed on trains operated by METRANS Rail Ltd. The work includes the calculate procedure of the technical normative weight, which is linked to the vehicle's resistance. The work also includes consideration of a change in the above calculation methodology primarily for container trains in terms of physical interpretation and possible benefits for fast freight.
