V této diplomové práci se zabývám vybranými názvy délkových a plošných měr. Každá jednotka je v práci nejprve uvedena krátkou charakteristikou, která objasňuje historii dané míry, přičemž je zde také uvedeno, o jaký druh míry se jedná, co se jí měřilo a jaká je její velikost. In this thesis I deal with the selected names of length and area measurements. Every each measurement is presented with a short characteristic, which explain the history of given measure, kind of measure, what she measured and what it its size.
