Second housing in selected municipalities of the Giant Mountains

Abstract:

Předložená závěrečná diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem druhého bydlení. Oblastí, ve které je problematika zkoumána, byla zvolena lokalita Krkonoš. Je popsán a charakterizován historický vývoj, který stál za rozmachem a následně formoval tuto významnou skupinu rekreace a cestovního ruchu. Jsou uvedeny možné příčiny popularity této formy bydlení a zmíněna její pozitiva a negativa. Další část objasňuje historický vývoj lokalit a současný stav zástavby ve vybraných obcích Krkonoš. Diskutuje o možných zdrojích dat pro popis stavu. Porovnává údaje o trvale bydlícím obyvatelstvu s množstvím ubytovaných rekreantů. Pro doplnění a zpřesnění údajů bylo použito dotazníkové šetření, ve kterém byli jako respondenti zvoleni představitelé vybraných obcí. V závěru se práce snaží zprostředkovat možné budoucí směry vývoje této problematiky a je doplněna o materiál, který může být využit při výuce zeměpisu.

Abstract:

which the problem is examined, was chosen a locality of the Krkonoše mountains and selected villages. It descibes and characterizes the historical development that was behind the boom and then shaped this important group of recreation and tourism. Thesis also describes the possible causes of the popularity of this type of housing and mentions both positive and negative. The next part explains focuses on the description of the historical development of the localities and the current situation of development in build-up areas in selected villages of the Krkonoše mountains. There is also discussed possible data sources to describe the status. It compares the data of the permanent resident population with the number of acoommodated holidaymakers. To supplement the data, a questionnaire survey was used with representatives of municipalities. In conclusion, the thesis tries to convey possible future directions of development of this issue and it is supplemented with material which can be used in teaching geography.
