Cílem mé práce je popsat a porovnat změny úmrtnosti podle tříd příčin smrti v České republice a zvolených státech Evropy mezi lety 1994 - 2009. Práce obsahuje úmrtnostní charakteristiky České republiky, Německa, Estonska, Rakouska a Finska. Práce je rozdělena do třech hlavních částí. V první části jsou popsány pojmy související s úmrtností. The aim of my work is to describe and compare changes in mortality according to classes of causes of death in the Czech Republic and selected European countries between 1994 - 2009.
